5 pounds your favorite baking apples peeled, cored and chopped
12 ounces cranberries, rinsed
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon ground
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker, stir well to combine.
Cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Uncover and use an immersion blender or potato masher to bring applesauce to desired consistency.
Adjust sugar, if necessary, sweetening to taste.
