Asparagus Pesto

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, packed

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 3 tablespoons pine nuts

  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese grated

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Place washed and dried basil, garlic, pine nuts, salt and cheese in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add olive oil and pulse until mixture forms a thick puree.
  3. Pour over cooked hot pasta and serve.
