Cereal Bars

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Nature's Path Whole O's cereal (or your favorite O-shaped cereal)

  • 2 cups your favorite trail mix

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed

  • 2/3 cup honey

  • 4 tablespoons butter

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut, to garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cereal and trail mix.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, and butter. Stirring frequently, bring the mixture to a boil, and boil for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, and pour the honey mixture over the cereal mixture. Stir to combine, and press into the bottom of a lightly greased 8x11-inch pan.
  4. Allow bars to set in refrigerator for 2 hours. Cut into 12 squares, and enjoy!
