THE PASSION BEHIND OUR PRODUCT OFFERINGS: AN INTERVIEW WITH DIRECTOR OF GROCERY, ERIC WINSTON:

What sets Lazy Acres apart from other natural food markets?

“Our culture, the variety of goods we carry, and the knowledge of our team members.”

What would you say is the biggest challenge of the job?

“So many products, so little time and space. There are many new products in the market to choose from, and when deciding what to offer our customers I look for innovation and have my eye on that next big item. While we do carry specialty products like vegan, gluten free, plant based etc. the goal is to have a product for everyone–balance is key.”

What do you value most about Lazy Acres’ culture and vision?

“We’re a passionate team that’s eager to listen to new ideas. Our team members prioritize health and wellness above all. Personally, learning about alternative medicines to live longer has inspired me. Along with people that care, we as a team are willing to do what it takes to make the right decisions for our customers.”

If you were stuck on a desert island and could only take 3 products from Lazy Acres, what would they be?

“Olive oil, seasonings (salt and pepper specifically), Shivers Ice… and a pan from our Housewares Department (okay, I know that’s four!).”

Eric Winston, Director of Grocery
